About This Episode

Despite only starting to compete in triathlon in 2012, Adriel Young has been to Kona twice, was the top age grouper at the 70.3 Asia-Pacific Championships, and also finished the 2015 Norseman Xtreme Triathlon. Last year he turned to the relatively new sport of SwimRun, winning the Mixed Team race of ÖtillÖ in Sweden, the sports biggest race that also doubles as the World Championship, back to back in 2016 and 2017.

In this interview we talk about:

– Adriel’s sporting background
– His short but pretty solid triathlon career
– SwimRun, ÖtillÖ and the future of the sport
– Working as a life saver in Greece helping refugees
